The Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Rancho Cordova and the Minority Business Assistance and Recovery Kickstart (MBARK) Program, is pleased to announce its 10-week intensive training cohort for small business owners. We know that small business owners often do not have enough time to work "on" their businesses because they are too busy working "in" their businesses. This program is designed specifically with the small business owner in mind. The time commitment is small compared to the big impact you will receive in participating.
This program provides expertise and support in critical areas that every small business owner needs to be sucessful. This small group setting provides relevant information on a broad spectrum of areas, including business planning; financial infrastructure and planning; marketing and digital presence; and doing business with your local jurisdiction.
Selected program participants will have an opportunity to meet with a business coach during the 10-week series to gain insight into their business and for professional growth.
The cohort will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the Rancho Cordova City Hall. Networking time will be included to allow participants to meet other business owners from the area so you can develop a stronger, more connected peer network.
Because the City of Rancho Cordova and the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce recognize the importance of their small business community, this program is free to those businesses located within the boundaries of the jurisdiction.
As part of the conclusion of the program, small business owners meeting the participation requirements will receive a $1,500 stipend to help you implement some of the tools and recommendations you discovered through the cohort curriculum.
Subject matter experts will be available to assist small business owners with how to best invest these funds to position your business for maximum growth and opportunity.
