The Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the City of Rancho Cordova and the Minority Business Assistance and Recovery Kickstart (MBARK) Program, invites local small business owners and entrepreneurs to join a 10-week business growth and training program designed to help you work on your business—not just in it. Your time is valuable and MBARK is built to make every session count. With a focused time commitment and big-picture results, this program empowers you to grow strategically while connecting with other motivated business owners in Rancho Cordova and beyond.

The MBARK Cohort combines hands-on small business training with meaningful networking opportunities to help entrepreneurs grow and sustain their businesses. This program provides expert guidance and support in the most critical areas every small business owner needs to succeed, including: Business Planning and Strategy, Financial Infrastructure and Management, Marketing and Digital Presence, and Local Business Readiness. Throughout the 10-week program, selected participants will also have the opportunity for coaching with a dedicated business coach for personalized insights, strategic guidance, and professional development.
The Cohort meets weekly on Wednesdays from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at Rancho Cordova City Hall. Each session includes dedicated networking time to help you connect with other business owners, exchange ideas, and strengthen your professional network within the Rancho Cordova small business community.
The City of Rancho Cordova and the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce proudly sponsor the MBARK Small Business Cohort to support the growth and success of local entrepreneurs. Because they recognize the vital role small businesses play in our community, this 10-week training program is completely free for businesses located within the City of Rancho Cordova.
At the conclusion of the program, eligible small business owners who meet participation requirements will receive a $1,500 business stipend. This funding is designed to help you apply the tools, strategies, and insights gained during the cohort to strengthen and grow your business.
Throughout the program, subject matter experts will be available to assist on how to strategically invest these funds—from marketing improvements and financial planning to operational upgrades—so you can position your business for long-term success and growth.
